The Manual/Pneumatic aseptic sampling valve is normally closed. It can be operated by handle or actuator. When opening, the valve stem and diaphragm seal unit are retracted, allowing fluid flow through. The PTFE diaphragm is optimal for high viscosity media. It is widely used for sampling from storage tank or pipeline for microbiological analysis under sterile conditions
