Our hinged butterfly valves are made from press-forged and solution heat-treated blanks. The shutters are made from press-forged and solution heat-treated Aisi 316L stainless steel pieces machined over the entire surface and ground on the revolving parts. The shutter stems are fitted with two PTFE bushes to eliminate rotation friction.
Seal rings are compression-pressed from first grade elastomers. The standard seal material is food-grade silicone. EPDM, FTM, PTFE-coated FTM, PTFE silicone are available as options.
All flanges are interchangeable and are available in the DIN, SMS, BS RJT, ISS IDF, Wine Thread, BSP and Clamp standards.
The flanges are easy to remove for cleaning and servicing.
Valves are manufactured in the dimension DN 50 and 2".
The standard finish is 120 grit (Ra 1.01-1.14 μm max).
The maximum operating pressure is 4 bars; 2 bars for PTFE seal rings.
