Description
The SV-10 Series solenoid valves for corrosive applications use only plastic or elastomeric materials: PVC for the body, Buna-N, EPDM, and FKM for isolating and main diaphragms, and a fully epoxy-encapsulated pilot solenoid actuator. The pilot actuator uses the pivoted armature design, which hermetically isolates the fluid medium from the armature. The magnetic forces generated are optimized mechanically using the lever principle. The design of these valves reduces noise and the likelihood of water hammer. The main seat seal is a stable, long-lasting flat diaphragm that provides a tight shut-off at the valve seat. SV-10 Series valves are ideally suited for the control of difficult fluids and in aggressive environments such as pure water, demineralized water, seawater, acids of medium concentration, salt solutions, as well as alkaline washing and bleaching lyes.
