AWH non-return valves are designed for use in pipelines, systems and machines in the food and drinks industry. They are suitable for liquid products, additives and cleaning liquids. They prevent pipelines running empty and are ideally installed on the pressure side of pumps to prevent the liquid level dropping or higher system components running empty when the pump is switched off. Mixing and metering systems, which combine different media, are another application.

A non-return valve is fitted in every component supply line to prevent penetration of the other component. AWH non-return valves are characterised by a hygienic, flow-optimised design which facilitates low pressure losses and optimal self-cleaning. The non-return is divided into an upper and lower section and reliably secured with a clamp connection. The housing parts are sealed with a U-shaped sealing ring, which joins the housing sections hygienically and absolutely flush with one another. The valve is configured in accordance with the latest hygiene criteria and equipped with metal stop surfaces to protect the seals. This reliably avoids micro-gaps where germs and product residue can gather. The double guide of the valve plate ensures long-lasting and reliable operation.
