History
ARTEN’s history begins in 1950, when the two brothers Alessandro and Enrico Mora created, in their own foundry located in Gavardo, province of Brescia, the first cast iron Manhole Covers and Manwaydoors for cement tanks. The product has a great success and soon becomes the strong point of the company. The post war economic boom makes growing the demand for Manwaydoors and Manhole Covers for oenology and food industry. The availability of new materials and technologies gives ARTEN the possibility to produce Manwaydoors and Manhole Covers with frames and accessories in cast iron and covers in pressed stainless steel. In 1974 Alessandro and Enrico Mora founded ARTEN, now located in Prevalle (Bs) and specialised in the production of Manwaydoors and Manhole Covers. Since the 80’s Manwaydoors and Manhole Covers have been completely created in stainless steel. In 2000, the company has been extended with the realisation of the current seat. Today ARTEN, headed by Mora’s new businessmen generation, continues its course, inItaly and worldwide.
